I graduated UMBC in May 1992 with a Bachelor's Degree in English. I am currently a senior editor for SmithBucklin, the world's largest professional association management firm. In that job, I write daily, weekly, and monthly e-newsletters for such clients as the National Association of Corporate Directors and the Institute of Real Estate Management. I also freelance-write movie reviews for such sources as The East County Times in Baltimore County and ScreenIt.com, as well as pen a monthly column in The Maryland Beverage Journal covering the state's beer, wine, and spirits trade. And in June 2016, I published my first novel (!) titled "The Totally Gnarly, Way Bogus Murder of Muffy McGregor!" Set in Laurel, Md., during the summer of 1986, this comic mystery chronicles the efforts of an unpopular high school kid who tries to solve the murder of a mega-popular cheerleader so he can get in good with the cool crowd. If you remember the summer of "Top Gun," "Aliens," Len Bias, and "Walk Like an Egyptian," you're gonna enjoy this book. It's available in print and Kindle eBook on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Books-a-Million, etc.
