I was a student at UMBC from Fall of 1983 until Spring of 1988. I graduated in June and then married Joseph Canner ('85) in October of 1988. We have 5 children, 2 of whom also graduated from UMBC, Robert ('13) & Christina ('15). I have: worked as a programmer; stayed home with & home schooled our children; and taught middle and high school. I will graduate with an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in May 2016, from Loyola University Maryland. I am currently enrolled full-time as a PhD student in Counselor Education and Supervision, also at Loyola University Maryland.
