Participating in UMBC's Habitat for Humanity (HFH) Chapter during my college experience was a true highlight. I really enjoyed giving back to the local Sandtown Habitat for Humanity organization and working along side other Baltimore companies was a real blessing.

The annual Alternative Spring Break trip to a Habitat for Humanity work site in Florida was also a highlight of my HFH and UMBC experience. Approximately 20 students rented vans and drove down to work with other schools during our Spring Break. I still maintain friendships with many of the work crews from UMBC and other schools.
